Microplastics on culture night

On the evening of Friday 21 September there was a buzz at the School of Biological, Earth and Environmental Sciences (BEES) in UCC. In the buildings students and staff were showing their work to a steady stream of visitors as part of Culture Night. Some 450 visitors to the School of BEES got to see and touch hedgehogs, shark jaws, lava, amazing plants and fossils.

Research on microplastics was explained by Alicia to an interested audience.
